Hasbro Toys To Kids: Girls Cook, Boys Work (They're Really Saying That!)

Someone update Hasbro’s calendar. It’s 2012, not 1950.

Sign the petition to ask Hasbro to feature males on the packaging and in promotional materials for the Easy-Bake Ultimate Oven, as well as offering the product in different, non gender specific colors, i.e. primary colors. Please, sign this petition, help me in creating gender equality, and help the children of today become what they’re destined to be tomorrow.

About being a sex addict? I am fully aware of sex addiction - and I'm not addicted. I'm rather insulted that you mentioned it. What were you thinking?
Ignorant Offender:
Well I didn't mean to offend you. I was reading your profile and I thought...I thought wrong. Sorry for the confusion.
The Offended:
What about my profile made you think I might be addicted to sex? Because I enjoy physical pleasure and intimacy?
Ignorant Offender:
Hmmm yea. You talk more about it then then the average profile. But like I said my mistake. I guess when I messaged you I was hoping you would explain it to me more.
The Offended:
Just because a person (a woman) enjoys sex, is educated about it, and willing to talk about it, doesn't mean they are addicted. Society has put these unfair expectations on us to behave in certain ways (ie, not enjoy sex) and stigmatizes anyone who chooses to behave differently, regardless of whether there's any harm done. I choose to counteract such societal restrictions and judgments by being open and honest about who I am, what I like, and educating others on sexuality, discrimination, and privilege.

My favorite part is the request to never use the word “tranny” - I hate that word and the connotation it always carries. I want to be better about asking people not to use that word. I want to be a better advocate of my transgender peers.
